Awards and Endorsements
SRA has forged a reputation in the provision of information services to the environmental industry, with current clients from industry areas including environmental protection, water, natural resources, exploration and mining, agriculture, forestry, fisheries and Government agencies.
EICTA Gold Cup for Excellence in Engineering and Commercialisation
SRA Infomration Technology won the Electronics and ICT Association's (EICTA) Gold Cup for Excellence in Engineering and Commercialisation. On October 31st 2008 SRA's EnviroSys product dubbed the "clever environmental software" won EICTA's top award given to a company who performs best in taking an innovative idea through product development and onto global markets.
Platinum Winner NT Information and Comunnications Technology (ICT) Awards
At the NT ICT Awards night held on 25th October 2008 where SRA accepted two awards. The Exporter Award given to a company who is best recognised for exporting at a National & International level and the major award, the overall Platinum Winner, awarded for an organisations overall excellence and contribution to the ICT Industry.
Telstra Business Awards
SRA Information Technology has won the 2007 Telstra Australian Business of the Year and the 2007 AMP National Innovation Award.
This follows on from wins in the Northern Territory in the State-based round of the awards, where SRA won the 2007 Hudson NT Business Award (51-100 employees), the 2007 AMP NT Innovation Award, and the 2007 Telstra NT Business Award.
SRA shared the 2007 Telstra Australian Business of the Year with gourmet food provider, Brookfarm, from New South Wales.
The 2007 AMP Australian Innovation Award was won for the EnviroSys product, which allows mining and energy businesses, along with governmental monitoring bodies and the infrastructure, water and agricultural industries to capture, monitor, alert, analyse and report on environmental effects. The software covers natural resource management, greenhouse gas emissions and other pollution monitoring activities.
Being awarded the 2007 Telstra Australian Business of the Year validates the years of research, development and belief that the SRA team maintained over the 15 years, and drives the confidence that SRA can be a niche international participant in the ICT world.

NT Innovation Awards
At the NT Research and Innovation Awards for 2007 held in Darwin on May 10th, Steven Rowe of SRA Information Technology accepted two awards for EnviroSys to cap off an excellent event.
This event showcased a wide variety of research and innovation being done in the NT, with such areas as malaria research, tropical environments and ecological management, remote community education innovation, and even aircraft propeller coatings included in the program.
The first award was the NT Minister for Business and Economic Development's Innovation Award, presented to Steven by the Minister Kon Vatskalis. Steven then went on to accept the Chief Minister's Research and Innovation Award, presented by NT Chief Minister Clare Martin.

Asia Pacific ICT Awards
In November 2006 SRA received a Recognition Award for EnviroSys at the APICTA annual Awards Program in Macau, against competition from the 16 member countries of APICTA. For further information visit the APICTA website.
AIIA iAwards
2008
In April 2008 SRA received two iAwards for EnviroSys from the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA) in the Northern Territory.
This leads SRA to the National iAwards night in Melbourne on the 28th May where AIIA is to announce the state finalists for the 2008 iAwards, which recognise the most outstanding ICT innovators.

The first award was a category award for Applications & Infrustructure Tools which is presented to the most outstanding communications technologies or for ICT solutions that make creative use of communications technologies.
The second award was the Research & Development Category which is awarded to the most outstanding ICT research and development project.

In April 2006 SRA received two iAwards for EnviroSys from the AIIA.

The first award was a category award for Agriculture and Primary Industries which is presented to the most innovative solution that supports the agriculture and primary industry sector.
The second award was the Community award which is presented to the most innovative ICT project in the area of corporate social responsibility. The winner will have demonstrated a commitment to community partnerships, environmental excellence (such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, sustainable business practises or water conservation), diversity or bridging the digital divide.
